Katie until present day :)

This was one of my favorites of Katie and her sweet smile. Since then I have got many more. She has dimples like her daddy and brother....but she has 2, not sure one, twice as sweet!
Please dont look at the dates of these. I am sure I am not in order like I was with Sam. Again, a second child thing. :( I could look at the dates but I am lazy and it is to close to bedtime!)

This chair is a little more my size! I loved this outfit. She has been so lucky to get clothes from Carly (one of her mommys cousins little girl), her cousins Lexi and Lindsay pass clothes down like she has two big sisters! Everything has been so darn cute. Thanks everyone :)
Mommy and her little Katie Kate! Don't really like this picture of me but it is cute of her! She is wearing her first Cardinals hat. If she is like her brother it won't fit long b/c they have huge heads! Again, another outfit we got from my best friend Marla sister heather! She has 3 girls!
Excuse me, you are kinda squishing me! Sam has always just adored his little sis. He is always so concerned when she is upset or if she is getting into something she shouldn't be getting into!
Another one of my favorites! Love these Pj's. I think we are going to base her 1st brithday cake and decorations around the paints and do polka dots! I almost think that is what we will do her new room whenever we decide to paint it too!

This was a special day. Katie got to go with Mommy and Daddy to P-town and look at cars and go out to dinner. Just the 3 of us. Sam stayed behind with Nana and G-bob (this is when we lived with them while we were building our new house)
Just another cute smile picture. I think this was around easter so again, they got a little moved around and out of order but no big deal. I cant wait to post pictures of her 1st birthday. I came up to the computer to look for ideas and started doing this instead. Now it is time to go to sleep. Until next time....

Katie: First 6 months

OK. I know it is Katie's turn but it is hard not to post pictures of the two of them. I guess that is what happens when you have #2 and so on. First picture of Sam with his new baby sister. Man, I dont know if it is just me but when your first "baby" comes into the hospital to meet your second baby it makes the first one look soooooo big. I could not believe it. It is like he grew up over night :(
This was Katies hospital picture. Gotta love the little hair sticking up in the middle. If only I had a scanner I could post a picture of me with this same hair style when I was a baby!
Kinda looks familar doesn't it!! Except she has a head full of hair! How sweet.
My lil pumpkin for her first Halloween. She was only a couple weeks old.

Her first Christmas card picture! So sweet! Back then she could not get away so she was good at taking pictures, now not so much.

Ok, so this is only 2 months or so. I still cant figure out how to add more pictures w/o them going to the top and then it all being backwards. I am a computer idiot. I will figure it out someday!

Sam: 6-12 months

I just love this picture. Again, those cheeks. He loved reading books. This one was a favorite b/c it also had thing he could put in his mouth and chew on!
My lil Devil. First Halloween. Maybe I should find this outfit and see if Katie would fit in it. I just loved it.

Sam's first photo for the Christmas card. I know, I am so mean. I just could not resist. Everyone does Santa hats. I found these reindeer ears and thought it would be cute!
My big 1 year old. Hard to believe his little sister is less then 2 months away from this. He was not walking yet but walking along things. His favorite thing to do was walk with his walker and when he ran into the wall he would look back at me for help b/c he was stuck! Before I go onto Sam's 2nd and 3rd year I think I will do Katie so far. You can tell me if you think they look like brother and sister!!

Sam's first 6 months

I thought it would be neat to put some paste pictures of my babies on here. I have taken tons of pictures, why not show them off. This is Sam's second day of life. Still hanging out in the hospital. One of my favorite pictures (which I will probably say that on every picture!) He was just so beautiful and perfect. We could not have asked for a more handsome little man.
I took a picture of Sam every week for awhile and then it was a little silly how many picutres I had so I starting taking them every month. That paci looks huge doesn't it! He is laying on a blanket made for him by his great grandma Rosie!

When I see this picture now I think, WOW...him and his sister look so much alike. He was always good at taking pictures for me (probably b/c I had the camera in my hand 24/7)
My best friends brother took this picture of Sam. He is about 5 months. I just love those chubby cheeks.

Summer, Summer, Summertime!!

Last but not least. Or First, since this post is going up as I add pictures (still dont know how things work yet). The two of them just the other day. Sam is such a great Big Brother, and Katelyn just can not get enough of him. LOVE IT! In just a few days my babies will be 3 and 1/2 and 10 months. Time sure does go by to fast.

Summer is almost over, but up comes Fall. My favorite month. Today it almost was like Fall weather which I just love. If I could have Fall all year long I would. But, it sure has been a fast and fun summer.

Katelyn finally eating some solid food...if you call Puffs solid. She still only has 1 tooth at almost 10 months. She LOVES them. That smile just makes me melt. :)

Katelyn enjoying Bubble time with Dadoe (this is what Sam calls his Dad. I use to say "Where did Daddy go" and Sam would say...Where Dadoe). It stuck and he has called him Dadoe every since. He loves it. Wonder if Katelyn will call him Dadoe too!

Sam in front of a KU Jayhawk. We went to Lawrence for the 4th of July. Had a family reunion. I know all my family will love this one (they are all MIZZO fans). If it makes you feel better one night Sam kept saying, I want to go back to Missouri. NOt sure why he was saying that. We live in Illinois. :)

Sam washing his TRUCK. We got this for him for his 3rd Birthday. We thought he would just love it b/c he always liked getting into our car or Dadoe's truck and pretend drive. Of course much to our dismay he cried when he first got it for some reason. He finally got back in it and driving once we moved into our new house. He drives it like a pro around the block now. And when it is time to put it away he pulls right up into the garage and parks it in its spot. I just hope it lasts for a LONG LONG time :)

Sam taking Katelyn for a ride. Ever since he learned how to drive his truck he does that now instead. That is ok. Katelyn likes to ride along side of him in the stroller. As long as she can see her big brother she is happy!

Sam doing his cool down after his Sporty Spiders class. First class he has taken where he just played around and was getting prepared for soccer, T-ball, or whatever he decides he wants to do next year. He was a good listener and followed directions most of the time (whenever he was not playing in the dirt down by the T-ball area).

Katie and mommy playing in the baby pool at a friends house. She loves the water. Spraying at you or just sitting in it and splashing.

Sam playing at one of the many water parks in town. Love the action shot. He is actually running away from the water. He does not like getting sprayed all that much.

Pictures of the kids

Thought I would upload a few pictures of the kids before I send this blog address out. I love the one of Katelyn with her Dr. glasses (it is from awhile back but I just think it is so cute). Sam is showing off his adorable dimple. And then one of the two of them together. I picked this one for now. Sam just loves making his baby sister laugh. He loves taking EVERYTHING she has in her hands away too....we are working on that one. Not use to sharing I guess. He will learn here pretty soon when he goes to preschool! Enjoy
