Just some recent pictures!

Sam ran in the Fun Run on Friday evening. Just a fun way to get some exercise. It was pretty cute. He is standing next to Chloe from school and his friend Josh is in the orange shirt. Action shot. He ran around 1/2 the track and started to tucker out. I ran too so I kept him going to the finish. Then he got a ribbon, and a snack!Just hanging out!!The kids playing in the sprinklers yesterday. They both LOVE the water. Katelyn kept running up to it, got wet and then ran to Dadoe so he could whipe her face with a towel. Afterwards we gave them an outside bath!Today at the SF pool. Glad Mike went because I am not sure I can go there with both kids by myself anymore. They both just want to run in the water and go down the slide over and over again. Action shot of Katelyn!

We have a busy week coming up. Vacation Bible School which I volunteer and Sam goes too. Our Parks and Rec stuff starts. Katelyn and I are going to do a gymnastics class together and Sam starts T Ball. And we have library reading programs to go get prizes for! Have a great week!

All kinds of stuff

We have been pretty busy since Mothers Day (my last post). Sam finished up Preschool for the year ;( It was bittersweet. I look forward to spending the summer with him and Katelyn, but it is sad that the year went so fast and he wont see his friends every week. Here are a few pictures from his first day and his last. You cant really see a huge difference in him but you can tell his sister has been doing some growing!!Sam on his 1st day of school. He is telling you he is 3 :)Sam on his last day. At the end of May my dad retired from State Farm after 38 years of working there. GO DAD!!!!

We went to see him for one last state farm lunch and got a picture of the kids with him in his office.

Just thought this was a funny picture of Katelyn. She is so darn cute!

So, the above picture was one day, then the next day or two she started to break out. She had a reaction to her medicine she was taking for her ears. ;( She looks just like I did b/c it happened to me when I was little too. So hard to see her like this. She was fine, it just looked horrible.

Katie and I took a water exploration class together. This was her last day. Dadoe came to see how much fun she had and to take some pictures. She waved to him and it made for a pretty darn cute picture!

Friday night we went to our first baseball game. We went to see the peoria chiefs thanks to Becca and PJ! We had fun. He kinda didn't like how it was so long but he had fun. We got to see some awesome fireworks afterwards!

We took a few pictures of us..he was making silly faces and I didn't know it. Pretty smart!

This was them last night doing puzzles together. Katelyn is just now getting good at them. It took her a little longer then Sam. Sam was always doing them. Love when they play together!

Just a little video of Katelyn in the pool. She learned how to get out safe and she loves jumping in as long as you are right there to catch her!

Mothers Day 2009

Just a few pictures we took this morning before church. I let Sam take some pictures. The first one...not so goodBut this one he did a really good job. One of the better pictures of me and my baby girl :)They are not the greatest at taking pictures together. It is hard getting both of them to look at the same time and smile nice. Oh well. I love em :) Outside on the porch. Sun kinda in our eyes.

And last but not least. My two wonderful babies that made it possible for me to celebrate Mothers Day. Took a picture with the pretty flowers they got for me. I just love them....

And A Happy MOthers day to my mom, my mother in law, and all the other mom's in my life and out there. We are very blessed don't ya think?!

Sam's field Trip

This is most of Sam's class. They were missing 2 kids. They went to Ewing Park on Tuesday (across the street from his school) for a little spring walk.

Then on Thursday the same week they got to go on their last field trip for the year. They went to a local Cheese/Dairy Farm just outside of town.

Sam got to feed a cow some hay...

He got to milk a big ole cow a few squirts...

We went on a hayrack ride....
And he got to sit up on one of the tractors.

This is the wild turkey that followed us around the whole time. Wish it could have been locked up. I know that is mean, but if you looked him in the eye the wrong way he hissed at you and it felt like he was going to attack. Really....do they need an animal like that out when there are a bunch of 3/4 year olds there for a field trip?? I don't think so :)

Easter 2009

Thought I would update some Easter pictures. Wish I had the past easter pictures on this computer. Maybe another post....Hope everyone had a great Easter. We enjoyed getting dressed up, going to church, and going to Nana and G-bob's for lunch. The kids had fun searching for easter eggs once again. Wish we could have seen the Stogsdill side, but maybe we can all get together sometime soon!! Enjoy...


Katie found her Easter basket on Easter morning. She got some gardening tools, a book, and some eggs filled with goodies!!

I have been either a good mom or bad. I have all kinds of pictures of Katie and none of Sam. But, I do have a TON of Sam when he was Katies age so maybe I am just trying to catch up a tad?!

Here a few pictures of Katie at a Lapsit we did at Normal Library. She LOVED the singing and bubble part. I did one with Sam at Bloomington Library when he was about 1 so I thought it would be nice to do one with Katelyn too. We went on Tuesdays when Sam was in school. I am sad it is over. I might need to sing up for another one!
